The printer connected easily via Bluetooth. The app is called Aiyin if you want to take a look at it before buying. The app is solid with minor nitpicks. You can choose common paper sizes as well as specify a custom width, but if you want to change units you have to go into settings to do it. I was expecting being able to tap "mm" or "in." to select. The app also asks if you are using roll or folded paper. I selected folded though I was using single-fed.There are three print density settings to accommodate various transfer/thermal paper. The middle setting was sufficient for the thermal paper I tried. The transfer paper it comes with is perfectly fine. The app is capable of modifying images, such as reducing full-color photos to line art and more, resizing, and rotating. The tattoo image editing is the same as tapping image editing. It can print documents, and handled PDF well. The app has print history for up to 30 days. But you also have documents kept in each print type list until you delete them.Being able to change width makes this more flexible than many other thermal printers available, and the ability to accommodate rolls is one less thing to carry. The guides are inside, and you press two buttons simultaneously to pop it open. The video shows opening it to load paper but I find it'll pull and load it if you feed it. However it's best to open to align the paper.It prints quickly, and is relatively quiet compared to other thermal printers I've used.It can also connect via USB (supplied, as well as a USB-C adapter). It charges fairly quickly. Instructions say to clean it periodically (carbon from the thermal process can dirty it), and the print head has an expected lifespan of 20 km. Other thermal printers I got came with a carrying bag, but for this one you'll need to procure your own.Overall, I'm very pleased.
