Solid piece. Easy to install. I think step 8 should be part b instead of part a. Part a screws are too long to screw on the back side. Unfortunately, I didn't notice and the top cracked. The company was AMAZING!!! one of the best customer service in a long while! They sent a new set. Very impressed and they followed up.
